The second book in this series by LucyB Lightner is every bit as fascinating as the first book, just in a different way......Its more of a march from one triumph to another, with the drumbeat this time being the regular announcements of platinum and gold achievements throught the world.
AND LucyB's own voice breaks through here and there - especially when she is commenting on certain articles. Let me give you one example:
"an outlandish report that does not warrant further comment."
LucyB is having none of that 'fragile Susan' stuff! In another spot, she says, "Susan can be emotional, but she is not fragile. Anyone fragile could not have survived the past ten months as Susan has."
Mostly LucyB's voice is not heard, she reports.... but every once in awhile, her voice drips with scorn as she relates ever so briefly, some of the garbage that has been spouted about Susan. Way to go LucyB!

This author has set down all information for the second six months of Susan's career-life in chronological order and cross-referenced. What a delightful read! You will be amazed at Susan's personality and charm, and the love between her and her fans. I know of no other singer who is so generous with herself to her fans, and this is one of the things this book so carefully details for you.
